Fast277 is is a collaboration in which 2 independent processes (often generative) arrive at a distilled and coherent musical form. The work usually starts in dialogue structure, in search of common interests and develops these points, once found, with rich vocabulary that often draws from early electronic music aesthetics as well as thoughts of social structure, politics and science fiction aesthetics.
Ame Zek is an electroacoustic musician, guitar player and composer interested in experimental, electronic, contemporary, improvised, spatial, acoustic, noise, hybrid and composed music. Instruments, sound sources and tools he uses in his work vary from different types of prepared guitars, acoustic percussions, self made objects, contact microphones, toys to analog modular synthesizer, amplified feedback speakers, magnetic field microphones or digital midi machines. His main interest and occupation are sounds and their unique organic characteristics. Projecting various kinds of relations and modulations within one single sound in space or composing the movements and relations of the interactions in the group of sounds trough space is part of his interest.
